Hello, I am a final-year undergraduate student at IIT KGP. I believe we are all made up of stories, and I take every opportunity to interact with and learn from new people. I've been very involved with extracurricular pursuits over the last five years at KGP. As a sportsperson, I enjoy devoting my time to athletics, particularly Javelin throw. I am also an acrylic artist with skilled hands in creating vibrant acrylic paintings. I am a fitness enthusiast and a go-to person for any problem. I hail from Araria district in Bihar and I'm currently working on publishing my book based on my life experiences. My Instagram account serves as my portfolio. Don't forget to checkout! Looking forward to connect :)

On the Bright Side

Things I'm Proud Of That You Won't See on a Resume

  • I overcame my physical limitations of having a bipartite patella after joining the Inter IIT Athletics team of KGP. The Kneecap (Patella), at birth is a combination of two separate bones which eventually fuse at birth to become a single unit. Bipartite Patella is a congenital knee condition where these two bones in the knee cap don’t fuse. It is a rare condition that affects only 1-2% of the population and create problems. I had problems with walking and running with ease when I came into KGP but with consistent efforts and training, I can now lift very heavy weights and even proved myself in various competitions. I overcame this without any medication, and this is something which makes me feel proud about myself.

Things I've Done That Pushed Me Out Of My Comfort Zone

  • Co-Founded Comedy Club IIT Kharagpur which is currently one of the India's biggest student-run comedy clubs with a team of 90+ members. A lot of hardwork and perseverance went into it's inclusion as an official body of Technology students' Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur.
  • Managing extracurriculars with academics is something which helped me step out of my comfort zone. I used to train daily for 2-3 hours in the evening with the athletics team after my 8 am to 5 pm of academic hours. It not only helped me push my physical limits on a daily basis, but it also helped me stay mentally refreshed.
